The difficulty of sending large files to another person isn't as easy as it sounds. E-mails can only hold up to so much data and most other methods are quite complicated to do. Here are some things you can do to send a file to another person:

Steps
- Consider P2P (Peer To Peer) as your first option. Peer to peer, depending on which program you use, is an easy, secure way to transfer files from one computer to another. Peer to peer usually works around firewalls and can transfer files of (almost, depending on the program) any type.
- You can also use FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to transfer pretty big files. FTP is quite convenient for people who know how to do it. However, setting up an FTP server (if you don't already have one) is not only hard for those who don't know, but also time-consuming. It may also require editing of your firewall or network. However, one upside is that FTP servers often do not cost any money to make (there is a lot of free FTP software out there, or, you can use your internet browser to access it).
- Use an Online Uploading Service and link to them through email. There are some file hosting sites that allow free upload and link to those files. The only drawback is that anybody who finds out the link can access those files (if its a public search site) and that the site can be set to accept only certain files.
Warnings
- Be careful with P2P and FTP, as they can be likely candidates for viruses!
