Steps

  1. Start by walking over the entire mole trail step-by-step. Take short steps and push the grass and dirt back to it original position. The lawn should be level when you are done.
  2. Place a shovel and a hammer in proximity to the lawn for use in the latter steps.
  3. Periodically scan the lawn for signs of the mole's return. Moles seem to eat at morning, noon and evening.
  4. When you see the old trail being expanded or a new trail being formed, silently inspect the end of the trail for a slight movement of the grass as the mole works at the end of the trail.
  5. Grab your shovel and hammer and silently return to the spot and watch for further grass movement of the mole digging.
  6. Stab the shovel about an inch behind the working area. This action will block the mole from escaping back down the trail.
  7. Quickly kneel down and look for the mole.
  8. Pick up the mole gently and place it in a box and cart it away from your property.
  9. Repeat these steps as necessary. Moles live in deep holes in your yard and have large families.

Tips

  • Finally, a trap that really-really works! It's called the "Easy-Set Mole Eliminator". After years of trying the various store bought remedies and other traps that only wish they were effective, this trap will eliminate the moles promptly. You will stand a little bit taller and your lawn will no longer look like a war-zone. You will be impressed with the results. Oils, poisons, gum, hammers, other traps....forgetaboutit.
  • The best time to scan a lawn is around Noon.
  • The mole usually makes more than one trail to hide the actual work area.
  • Depending on your aim, only a couple of hits are required to kill the mole.
  • Moles may feed on your lawn from late Spring to late Fall.
  • Keep your grass cut. Tall grass makes it difficult to see when and where the moles are working.
  • If you are silent and walk softly, the mole will not be alerted to your presence and wont escape back down the trail.
