Steps
- Go here and download the trial version of aaa-logo.
- Run the program
- When the template screen comes up, either click a template you like the look of to see how it was created, or hit escape (esc) on your keyboards to create a blank page. Otherwise click File > New Blank Project when you want a blank canvas to work with.
- Play around with all the functions and you will soon have the power to make a great looking logo for your website, letter header, company sign..etc

Tips
- You don't need to pay for it to save an image - If you want to save/use/export a logo you created with the trial version. Take a screenshot by pressing the print screen button on your keyboard. Open up paint or another image editing program and paste (ctrl + v).
- If you want a white background without the grey grid behind. Create a new object. Make the object bigger (by clicking and dragging to the left on the top right hand side pane.) and then click "image" at the top and change the colour of the object to white (or whichever colour you want as to be the background colour
- You can import images into the application (File > Import Image), but you canot manipulate them directly. But you can create another object, place it over the image and change its opacity so you can see the imported image behind. To change the opacity you must click the "Gradient" button at the top and then check "Gradient Overlay"; then change the gradient colours and opacity as you desire.
- Remember the most successful logos are simple logos. Think of all the famous logos of big companies, and the majority are easy to mentaly picture. Less is more.
- Dont stick with one design, create as many as you can; show them to your family or friends and ask them what they think of them; tell them to be honest. Don't be dissapointed if they don't like them...just try again until you're happy with your design. Another test is to show it to someone for a short time (i.e 3 seconds) and them ask them to draw it. If they can remember most of it then it is memorable. If they're lost about what to draw...then try another design. Good luck
Warnings
- Professional logos aren't created in this way. You won't be able to resize it for larger printing on posters, vehicle wraps or the like. It won't be able to be printed in economical "Spot Colors" on letterhead and envelopes and it won't look good printed on anything but a cheap home printer. A professional graphic designer is required for a professional logo.
