Steps

1. Go to the Vibe Streamer website (see external link below) and download Vibe Streamer installer to your desktop.
2. Install the program to the default location.
3. Alternatively, for a portable installation that does not touch your registry, use Universal Extractor to extract the program to a suitable directory (see external link below)
4. Launch the program via the shortcut or by double clicking vibestreamer.exe

• Step 1: Add yourself as a user.
  • Click the Users and Groups tab.
  • Right-click in the Groups area and create a group called Family or another name for a group you could fit into.
  • Right-click the Users area and create a user called Me or something self-referential.
  • Set Max number of Users and Max connections per IP to 1.

• Step 2: point vibe streamer to the directory containing your music files.
  • Click the "Sharing" tab, right-click in the Shared Directories area and point the program to your music using the Browse button, eg: "C:\Music"
  • Make sure that you add yourself and your group to the permitted users of this directory by clicking the check boxes.

• Step 3: Fine-tune your settings
  • Click on the Settings tab and turn on Log streamed files and Log failed logins.
  • Set the Maximum connected users to a number based on the number of users you have created.
  • Select Activate Server on program startup

• Step 4: Note the address to access your music at
  • Note your IP address down using a service such as whatsmyip.org (see external link below)
  • Append the number in Port in the Settings tab to the IP address using a colon.
  • If your IP address is 67.40.127.78 and your Port number was 8081, you would use http:// 67.40.127.78:8081 to access your music from another computer.
